Agadir beach traces a wide crescent of sand below the city. Its promenade, opened in September 2007, runs alongside it for about 6 km, from the marina in the north to the Founty district in the south, via avenue du 20 Août and avenue Tawada.
At the northern end of the bay, the marina sits at the mouth of the Oued Tildi, below Agadir Oufella hill. Since July 2022 a 1,700-metre cable car has linked the Tildi bridge to the kasbah in about six minutes; by car, the viewpoint is a quarter of an hour from the beach.
